Terry Heiss has been involved in carpentry his whole life. Starting out working for his father's business, Heiss Construction Company in his early teens through his twenty's. After his father's passing in 1975 Terry joined the Ann Arbor Carpenter's local 512 as a Journeyman. He worked residential and commercial carpentry jobs including, The University Hospital, Domino's Farms, YUCU sewage treatment plant and many other jobs around the Detroit metro area. In 2001 Terry applied for his Michigan Residential Carpenter's License and started his business building houses, garages, additions, decks and general home repair in and around the Ann Arbor area. He is a 5th generation carpenter and with his sons on board they make 6 generations.
